Spreading Awareness and Fulfilling Social Responsibility

Movie Screening: We recently screened a movie on the life and times of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, which was well-received by our students and faculty.

Lectures: We are inviting eminent speakers to deliver lectures on the history and significance of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's life and teachings.

International Elocution Competition: We are proud to announce that our centre is hosting an international Elocution competition, which has received an overwhelming response from participants from USA, UAE, Australia, and India. The competition is being held on the topic “गुरु तेग बहादुर जी की तीन सौ पचासवीं शहीदी समागम: एक प्रेरणा” and we have received 200+ entries.

Promoting Social Harmony: The life and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh Ji is a powerful example of social harmony and unity. He stood up for the rights of the oppressed and fought against injustice, regardless of the consequences. His martyrdom is a reminder that we are all part of a larger humanity, and that our individual actions can contribute to the greater good.

Fulfilling Social Responsibility: Through these activities, we are not only promoting the legacy of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, but also fulfilling our social responsibility as an educational institution. By spreading awareness about the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh Ji, we are promoting social harmony, unity, and compassion. We believe that education should not be limited to academics alone, but should also include social responsibility and community service.

Our activities are a small step towards creating a more just and equitable society, where everyone can live with dignity and respect. We hope that our efforts will inspire others to join us in this endeavor and work towards creating a better world for all.

A Message from the Chair: I am proud to say that our centre is taking steps to promote the rich cultural heritage of India and inspire our youth to become responsible citizens. I believe that these activities are not just events, but a way to fulfil our social responsibility and contribute to the betterment of society.

सामाजिक जबाबदारीचा अर्थ : पर्यावरण संवर्धनापासून मानवतेच्या मदतीपर्यंत आजचा समाज अनेक सामाजिक, पर्यावरणीय व आर्थिक आव्हानांना सामोरा जात आहे. वाढते प्रदूषण, हवामान बदल, नैसर्गिक संसाधनांचा ऱ्हास तसेच अपघात, आजारपण व दारिद्र्यामुळे संकटात सापडलेली कुटुंबे – या सर्व समस्या समाजाच्या संवेदनशीलतेची कसोटी पाहतात. अशा परिस्थितीत सामाजिक जबाबदारी ही केवळ संकल्पना न राहता प्रत्यक्ष कृतीत उतरवणे ही काळाची गरज बनली आहे. परभणी, नांदेड व परिसरात अलीकडील काळात राबविण्यात आलेले पर्यावरण संवर्धन व मानवतावादी उपक्रम याचे उत्तम उदाहरण आहेत. जांभूळबेट संवर्धन मोहिम : निसर्गासाठी घेतलेला पुढाकार : नांदेड जिल्ह्यातील गोदावरी नदीपात्रात असलेले जांभूळबेट हे जैवविविधतेने समृद्ध असे नैसर्गिक ठिकाण आहे. मात्र अलीकडच्या काळात वाढते अतिक्रमण, वृक्षतोड व दुर्लक्ष यामुळे या बेटाच्या अस्तित्वावर प्रश्नचिन्ह निर्माण झाले होते. ही परिस्थिती लक्षात घेऊन नांदेड येथील वृक्षमित्र समूहाच्या पुढाकाराने “जांभूळबेट संवर्धन मोहिम” राबविण्यात आली. या मोहिमेअंतर्गत जांभूळबेट येथे २०० हून अधिक देशी वृक्षांची लागवड करण...

आरोग्य सेवा आणि संकटकाळातील 'दूत': जेव्हा संपूर्ण जग कोरोनाच्या जागतिक संकटात ठप्प झाले होते, तेव्हा डॉ. यादव यांनी स्वतःच्या प्राणाची पर्वा न करता प्रत्यक्ष रणांगणात उतरून कार्य केले. कोविड लसीकरण (Vaccination) मोहिमेसाठी त्यांनी अनेक यशस्वी शिबिरे आयोजित केली. लॉकडाऊनच्या काळात हातावर पोट असणाऱ्यांच्या अन्नावाचून हाल होऊ नयेत म्हणून आपल्या मित्रपरिवाराच्या साथीने त्यांनी व्यापक 'अन्नदान' उपक्रम राबवून शेकडो कुटुंबांना मायेचा आधार दिला. विविध ठिकाणी जेथे लोकांना आपली गरज आहे हे ओळखून त्या ठिकाणी कोणत्याही निमंत्रणाची वाट न पाहता ते उपस्थित असतात 'रक्तदान हेच श्रेष्ठ दान' हा मंत्र जपत त्यांनी वेळोवेळी रक्तदान शिबिरे भरवली आणि स्वतः देखील अनेकदा रक्तदान करून गरजू रुग्णांना जीवनदान दिले. सामाजिक बांधिलकी आणि आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन: निसर्गाच्या कोपाने जेव्हा जेव्हा संकट ओढवले, मग तो महापूर असो वा अन्य आपत्ती; डॉ. यादव सर्वांत आधी धावून गेले. पूरग्रस्तांना जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंची मदत पोहोचवण्यापासून ते गरीब रुग्णांना दर्जेदार वैद्यकीय उपचार मिळवून देण्यासाठी त्यांनी नेहमीच ...
